So uols, in this entry, RedBerry nak share abt basic makeup brushes yg mesti kita ada. Takyah beli semua, yg ni pun dah cukup. Unless kalau uols nak jd makeup artist, then u have to learn and buy more tools lah. This entry ni jugak, just to remind myself pasal makeup brushes ni. Kdg2 RedBerry sendiri pun lupa. Jom kita sesama belaja - brushes for FACE, EYES, EYEBROWS and LIPS.

Face
Face #1 - Liquid Foundation Brush
Kalau uols nampak brush camnie, bulu dia leper and hujung dia mcm round skit, this one is for liquid foundation. RedBerry ada brush ni, coz my husband beli satu set, ada sekali yg ni. Tapi sayang, RedBerry takleh pakai liquid foundation, tak sesuai coz i have combo type of skin. kalau pakai jugak, nanti cepat berminyak. That's y RedBerry pakai cream foundation or powder foundation jer. Tapi kalau uols sesuai pakai liquid foundation, u r VERY lucky la. Sebab effect dia lagi cantik, nampak lagi flawless, beb!
Face #2 - Powder Brush
Dlm byk2 brush, powder brush la yg paling besar. Ye la, kalau pakai bedak, takkan uols nak pakai yg kecik jer, nanti uols tak dapat full coverage. Sana sni bertompok2. RedBerry tingin nak beli yg besar. Yg dah ada tu mcm tak besar sgt :D (alasan kan? alasaaaaannnn lalalalalalalala)
Face #3 - Kabuki foundation / powder brush
In my previous entry on Kabuki brush, RedBerry ada citer kan that i've bought this brush. Ni kira powder brush la, kalau uols ada compact foundation or face powder, uols boleh la guna ni. Satu lagi senang nak bawak ke hulu ke hilir, esp kalau uols byk travel kan. Takkan la kalau nak touch up, uols nak bawak powder brush #2 kan? Mesti uols bawak yg pendek and senang nak sumbat dlm handbag :)
Face #4 - Round Blush Brush
Uols try sebut ni byk kali.. mcm tongue twister. Hehehe.. Anyway, kalau sekali tgk mmg nampak cam powder brush #2 kan? Tapi yg ni biasa nye kecik skit and dia punye bristles tuh bentuk bulat. So mmg sesuai la for blusher. Kalau uols pakai blusher pun uols buat circular motion to the apples of ur cheeks and upper cheekbones then baru tarik slow naik atas sampai ke telinga. Ye tak? :)
Face #5 - Angled Blush Brush
This one is also a blush brush. Ada org tak suka pakai blush buat circular motion kat cheekbones, sebab taknak nampak muka lagi chubby ke apa, uols beli brush ni la. Kalau uols pasan, bulu dia menyerong skit. So that biler uols pakai blush or bronzer, boleh la kasik effect muka panjang skit. RedBerry guna brush ni bukan for blusher, tapi for bronzer, nak buat shading kat pipi.
Dah la tu. Amik yg basic2 dulu for face. Now we move to brushes for eye makeup. ok?
Eyes #1 - Eye concealer brush
Most of us la, rasa nye mesti ada dark circle kan? Biasa la org pompuan, it's either mmg selalu tak cukup tido, kena jaga malam coz anak nak susu, or mmg sebab we r ageing.. uwaaaaaaaaa. Kalau makeup eyeshadow, kat atas mata cun la, tapi kat bawah mata ada nampak cam lebam2 skit kan? Letak foundation ke bedak mmg tak menjadi sgt. Biasa nye kalau day makeup, takyah nak cover sgt, nite makeup penting. Ye la kalau pegi majlis, mesti kita nak nampak flawless kan? So what do we need to do? Pakai la eye concealer ye cik-cik dan puan-puan semua. Nak pakai concealer tuh boleh jugak pakai jadi, tapi effect dia tak cantik sgt la compare to guna brush. Rupa eye concealer brush mcm pix kat atas tuh. To be honest, RedBerry tak suka pakai eye concealer for day makeup coz nanti nampak cam tak natural. Nampak flawless sgt kat mata tuh. Padahal takde la camtuh. Ke sebab RedBerry tak reti makeup? Kahkahkahkah..
Eyes #2 - Blending brush
Brush ni amat la penting for eye makeup. Remember tak RedBerry ada cakap, esp kalau nak buat smokey eyes, yg penting color blending. Or else, nanti combo of the eye shadows tak nampak smooth and cantik. Nampak berbelang. So thanks to this blending brush. This one is absolutely a MUST HAVE item. Kalau uols pasan, bentuk bulu brush ni pun round kan, and texture pun lembut. Mmg senang nak buat blending.
Eyes #3 - Angled eye brush
This is another must have item. Yup, mmg ni pun eye brush jugak tapi kecik skit. Function dia for applying eyeshadow on bottom last line. Nak apply kat situ, uols takleh la guna rounded big brush. Uols kena la guna angled small brush. Senang nak apply kat small area bawah mata tuh.
Eyes #4 - Flat shader eyeshadow brush
Attention! This is a great multi-use brush. Mcm2 boleh guna with only this one flat shadow brush. Uols boleh apply eyeshadow on the lid or crease, buat shading kat hidung, highlighting, conceal small pimples kat muka, blending pun boleh. Kalau uols malas sgt nak simpan byk2 brush, at least buy this brush. :)
Eyes #5 - Eyeliner ultra fine brush
RedBerry ada both the Bobbi Brown eyeliner ultra fine brush and the long-wear liquid mascara mcm dlm pix kat atas ni. LOVE both of 'em! LOVE it! Pakai mascara ni guna eyeliner brush, mmg cantik. So far dlm pix RedBerry, takde gambar with this eyeliner coz RedBerry tgh nak try Elianto eyeliner. Best gak, tapi tak sebagus the Bobbi Brown eyeliner nih. Effect dia mmg lain la, lagi cun and kalau peluh pun, tak gelabah nak cair. Kalau nak belu brush ni, mmg kena beli eyeliner nih sekali la. Baru la useful brush tuh :)
For those yg tak brapa nak ada bulu mata LIKE ME, sila lah beli eyelash curler.. PLEASE. Or else kalau nak buat smokey eyes, nak kasik mata tuh dramatic skit, tak menjadi. Just imagine, u makeup mata dah cun habes, tapi sekali bulu mata flat jer. We all kalau uols mmg pandai curl ur eyelash guna mascara alone, then fine. Tapi i dun think the effect would be the same if you use the curler. So invest skit kat curler yg bagus. I recommend Bobbi Brown eyelash curler - mcm pix kat atas tuh. Best and tak sakit.

Eyebrow #1 - Eyebrow brush
Kalau kita dah trim eyebrow kita elok2, tapi tak sikat dan kasik cantik, tak cun jugak nanti. So kalau uols beli brush ni, uols boleh la sikat2 skit kat eyebrow yg dah mmg cantik, so that nampak lagi kemas biler pakai eyebrow pencil.
Lipstick brush paling senang uols nak cam. Biasanye bulu nye pun nipis, and the brush itself pun kecik. Kalau malas sgt kita tak kuasa nak guna brush ni kan? Amik lipstick, sapu kat lips, dap ngan tissue, sapu another layer.. walla! Tapi kalau uols nak effect cantik, and bibir yg mungil, uols kena la guna lipstick brush, so that baru boleh shape skit bentuk bibir tuh.

So uols! Now dah tahu pasal makeup brushes la kan? Rasa happy skit kan? Nanti masuk MAC, Elianto or Bobbi Brown, uols dah tahu la brush mana uols nak beli :) Uols takkan jd mcm RedBerry dulu la ek? Dulu punye RedBerry blur habes pasal brushes ni, tak tahu satu pun pasal brushes. Berus kain tahu la :P Al-maklumlah.. fomfuannn :P
